Being an artist that's trying to bring change to his region, I have a lot of respect for emcees such as Dom Kennedy & Kendrick Lamar who are trying to breathe new breath into a genre of music that's been on life deprivation for a few years. These two guys are not only the best leftcoast emcees I've heard, but also two of the best new emcees I've heard period.
