We got the funk

When Reez first asked if I knew anyone that wanted to write a blog all I could think was that we are two very different genre's.....Then I remembered that is what I like about him.

Then I asked what I should stick to..and he gave me free reign...So now we are going to see how long it takes before my off the wall is waaaay to much for him.

So for today's post I'm going to talk about an artist named Tek-One. I was first introduced to this band via a remix he did of a metal band called Bring Me The Horizon and their song "Sleep with one eye open"



Tek-One is one of the more popular artist for a new style of music called "dub step". I took some time this week to listen to more of Tek-ones work and I have to say the kid blows my mind. If you watch a video of his where you see him demonstrating the drums portion of his music it's just outstanding.

It isn't very often someone can invent a new style - it's even more seldom that someone just completely blows my mind with what they can accomplish.
