The Next 48 Hours With Wale follows the rapper during his Attention Deficit album release week. Part 3: The Day After Album Release, features a string of appearances in his home town – Washington D.C.: Fox 5 TV Network, in stores at DTLR & Commonwealth and official album release show at Ibizia Nightclub.

Stussy unveils a further look into its latest collaboration with renowned graffiti artist Eric Haze. Aside from an extensive clothing collection, the lineup also features footwear, more specifically a triple shoe set with PRO-Keds. Our resident blogger, Hikmet Sugoer, previews an upcoming collaborative sneaker design for his popular shoe boutique Solebox. Details on this silhouette include a neoprene in-shoe, premium materials, and hand-made construction. Stay tuned for a closer look and more information in the coming months. A release for these is set for February 2010.

I finally got the chance to sit down and read this book front to back yesterday and its amazing. Spike Jonze did a great job of exposing Kanye's 'talk it out' genius with the interview and its dope that Nabil was able to immortalize the glow in the dark concept and experience with his photos. This book is a reminder of how ill the tour was and that any good idea you think you may have should probably be further developed.

So in the spring of 2007, I suggested to Wale that he create an audio manifesto of what he wanted to accomplish as an artist once he signed. DC producer Osinachi, the maestro behind “Nike Boots” who is now part of Rodney Jerkins’ team, blessed Wale with the beat for “The Meeting” and Wale, how do you say, “went in.” This became the first track we played in label meetings and for a time, it was discussed that this would be the intro for Attention Deficit. In retrospect, I think Wale stayed true to the goals set forth in “The Meeting” and you can still hear the hunger in his voice. So 2.5 years later, this track is emancipated.

When you get props from Hova(Jay-z) & Wayne your career/future is pretty much solidified in the game. Drake has created a bigger buzz than any of his peers in 2009 off of his mixtape "So Far Gone." So much so that it's landed him two grammy nominations & made every veteran & rookie emcee say, "Oh Shit, we gotta step it up!" However, now Drake has to deliver the same quality on his debut album "Thank Me Later." The pressure is on, but thanks Drake for helping bring real music back to hip-hop!
